Do you do piercings?
No, Tattoo Zuzu is only a tattoo shop.
What are your Backgrounds?
Audra has been tattooing 9 years now, relocated from Madison, Wisconsin where she did her apprenticeship and later co-owned Wayward Tattoos- Madison’s first all women-owned tattoo shop. As fate seemed to have it, Audra and her family moved here in 2022 to bring Viroqua’s first tattoo shop!
Tejah Broser is a great illustrator and artist with a wide range of work from murals in commercial spaces, currently illustrating a children’s book, and now Tattoo Zuzu’s first Apprentice.
What are your hours?
Tattoo Zuzu operates by appointment only but come stop in say “hey”
Why is it called “Tattoo Zuzu”?
Zuzu is Audra’s daughter Suzette’s nickname, named after her late mother’s favorite movie “It’s a Wonderful Life”
How do I get an appointment?
Audra’s books will open 3-4 times per year, announced on Instagram, this website, and Facebook where the request form will be available. Upon filling out the form, clients will be required to make $100 deposit and given their time and date.
Tejah books via email at tejahtattoos23@gmail.com and via DM’s on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tejahtattoos
I have an appointment, now what?
Your artist will be in contact and you will receive a preview/outline of your tattoo the day before if not sooner. At your tattoo time there will be time to make any minor adjustments and discuss color/shading for your tattoo.
Do you do consultations?
Not typically, you will be able to attach photos for references and pictures for placement. Unless a very complicated cover up, consultations are typically not required anymore thanks to technology and the iPad.
What styles do you do?
Audra excels at traditional tattoos with bold lines and color. Influences of Art Deco, Art nouveau, rosemaling, botanical/floral designs. Audra does not do geometric, super fine line, or realism tattoos.
Tejah focuses on small tattoos, black work, botanical illustrations, and ornamental work.
